Lesson 16: Meditation on Unconditional Love

 

People need unconditional love like a plant needs light and water.

Over the years, there have been certain people who have loved you very well. They saw the good in you, and brought their kindly love to you without expectations, conditions, or demands.

 

In their presence, you knew that you were good, life is good, and all things are possible.

 

Write the names of some people who have loved you well:

Think of the most loving person you have ever known.

Imagine being in their presence and looking in their eyes, and feel how their heart is easily extending love to you, like rays of the sun.

Feel how you respond to the energy of unconditional love.

Breathe and feel your body relax in this safe and warm regard that they have for you.

Feel your heart taking in this love and affection.

 

Allow yourself to feel happy about exactly who you are.

 

Feel gratitude and send it back to the heart of the person who’s loving you.
